Chris Cameron and Elizabeth Gilbert - inspiring

Just watched this - what a pleasure. A terrific talk, inspiring and generous. Highly recommended.

Elizabeth Gilbert: Your elusive creative genius -

You'll have to copy and paste.

Though one commentator on the speech afterwards said:
I don't get it. You're a writer. You've had one success that you don't expect to outdo... So don't expect it! Problem solved :)
In some ways, he's right. But still, it's a good talk. I love what she says about showing up to do her job.

And more - friend and former student Chris Cameron had a piece on CBC's The Sunday Edition this morning - a beautiful essay about his life as an opera singer and a moment of transformation.  He appears at 1:58 in the podcast. Wonderful work, Chris.
