It was when I saw the well-dressed young man walking along a packed city street, with a miniature pig in a red overcoat trotting on a leash behind him, that I knew I wasn't in Toronto any more. Or Kansas. Welcome to Mexico City.
Can't write now, as it's late and I'm dazed. Modern travel, who can get used to it - you start the day at home, zip some three thousand miles in a few hours, and there you are on another planet. Annie was there to meet me, thank the lord, as the entry into this crowded, noisy, marvellous country is overwhelming.
