La citta eterne - Roma

I am alive and well and in an apartment in downtown Rome with my dear friend Bruce and we just came in from dinner where we ordered a bottle of extremely reasonable and delicious wine - a rosso from Montepulciano - and he didn't drink that much so I had to drink the rest. There was food too I think. Yes I'm sure there was food. This city is so incredibly beautiful it's incomprehensible. Mind-boggling. We walked around and the light was pure gold.
