Ciao

The eagle eye of my friend Chris in Toronto has captured an error - Pompeii was wiped out in 79 AD. Not BC. What would I do without my fact checkers?

It's 7 a.m. in Naples and soon I leave for the airport. Jet setting. Arrivederchi. And I know that's probably not spelled correctly. One of you will set me straight.

  1. “Arrivederci Roma, Goodbye, Au Revoir,
    Mentre l'inglesina s'allontana…”

  2. At one point, on the train from Sorrento to Naples, we sat next to a German family and conversed with them in English and German. Bruce switched to Italian when we got off, and I was constantly saying Spanish words instead of Italian ones. I felt very multilingual. And poor in all of them except my native tongue.
